This is not good - big consequences for people impacted and US power, influence and authority in due course.
Rubio terminated 5800 USAID contracts – more than 90% of its foreign aid programs – in defiance of the courts.

Here’s a list of just some of the lifesaving awards that were terminated. Nearly all were Congressionally mandated. They’ve saved millions of lives. 🧵

Given the suggestions that the UK should withdraw from the European Convention on Human Rights, I thought it was time to have a look at it.

Wikipedia has an excellent summary of the history and formation of the convention too.

All looks sensible and fundamental!

I was interested to read, "The people of Britain have always given their best in response to external challenges." I wonder whether the same applies to internal challenges.
What Heath wrote to commemorate joining the EC on 1 January 1973. It was never just about trade, however much Brexiters try to rewrite history.

Seems like a good idea.
It’s time for THE charger.

Today, the USB-C becomes officially the common standard for charging new mobile electronic devices in the EU.

It means better-charging technology, reduced e-waste, and less fuss to find the chargers you need!

This is a terrible example of "party brain" at work.

The question isn't "how do you beat Reform?" - which would be a wholly illegitimate way to make this decision.

It's "how do we stop foreign (& indeed domestic) money from subverting our democracy?"

That's much bigger than the fate of one party
