Lol. Attention. Sure. They're only bringing attention to their antics. The maximum they could do would be to actively participate in environmental clean up. There are also grassroots campaigns that bring attention to the issues in a much more clear and focused way.

I guess they have the power to throw soup at art but they don't have the power to actively participate in environmental clean up. There are people out there doing actual work to help make things better but no, throwing soup at art is better

And then instead of actively helping people, he's throwing shit at people's cars and telling them they're assholes for contributing to the climate crisis by going on a cruise.

It's more like people getting angry at Superman because he is shouting at people that the cruise ship is going down but not actually helping solve the problem.

I definitely think the length of the prison sentence is extreme. But I also find their actions to be counterproductive to their cause. It just makes people hate them and label all climate activists as attention seeking frauds.

Trying to imagine this guy as a hedge fund manager 😂
