A tier list explaining how each Sonic character would engage with social media. Keeping it entirely real, I'm not sure how to do Alt text for this. Tier list has too many characters for any sort of, um, organization? So... Here's where some of the more popular characters land. Sonic, Surge and Rouge are in "posts every couple of months" tier. Tails, Amy, Tangle and Sage are in "posts semi-frequently" tier. Knuckles, Shadow, Omega, Charmy and Cream are in "does not use social media at all" tier. Eggman, Metal Sonic, Mephiles and Kit are in "only posts rage bait" tier. Espio, Whisper, Lanolin, Fang and Silver are in "hasn't posted since 2013," alongside dead characters like Chip, Gamma, Cosmo, and Emrl. "Suspended" tier is comprised entirely of dead villains, such as The End or Black Doom. Blaze, Vanilla, Big, the conductor and his wife are in "facebook user" tier. At the very tip-top is "chronically online tier, with the top three being Orbot, Vector, and that stupid little emo freak from Lost World. Y'know, the one in the Deadly Six? I refuse to look up his name. I want to punt him.

the thing with movie sonic is that i don't think he's a particularly great adaptation of sonic; he leaves behind a lot of what makes sonic so great.
but on his own he's such a good character i can't help but love him and see him as his own entity
