Years back Sen Kennedy lost to Rupert Murdoch in the courts over his owning 2 media outlets in the same city. Reagan did away with the Fairness Doctrine. Right wingers bought up small tv and radio stations. All led to ppl getting daily doses of fear and hate. 30 yrs of it has led us to this.

Remember when he picked Mother Mike Pence and the deal was cut with Carrier that the Indiana taxpayers would foot their tax bill, and in return Carrier wouldn't move its factory to Mexico? Well, once the deal was signed off on, Carrier moved production to Mexico anyway. Fool me once.....

Eurooe was so used to the US stepping in and controlling situations. But the current US government seems more interested in appeasing rogue states and dictators. So Europe is slowly coming to the realization that they have to go it alone.
