Now don't get me wrong, I am biased. I am. Chiaki Kobayashi voices Yashiro. But dangit his character is so good. I have been saving the scenes and just having the time in my life -- so far Yashiro and Tobari have been my favorites to play through 😭

Now. I can post in progress about Yashiro. In everyone else's route Yashiro was an extremely supportive bestie, which made me think he wouldn't have much romantic progression in his route somehow especially because its the last love route. I was wrong. There IS romantic progression.

About a villain? In an otome game? Me? Who loves yang? Who loves Lucas proust? me? Saying that Yori is a bad man is like a huuuge deal lol right now hes pretty low as far as hinagikus endings cause I still dont think their best ending was very romantic LOL.

But the way that he manipulated mc... a bad man. Truly. He wanted her he wanted to possess her, and sure with his good end he loves her but jfc hinagiku girl you can do BETTER seriously ! Hes a bad man not even with redemption and like dont get me wrong he is hot. But like for me? To have morals?

Now Yori -- I've got a lot to say about Yori -- I'm talling like 45 mins across multiple vns to say avout Yori. He is a bad man. I love bad men? They're usually some form of redeemable but Yori is bad TO MC he is wildly possessive and was also a villain in EVERY OTHER ROUTE PRIOR( so I was excited)

Pause before I talk about Yori, to talk about how canonically im pretty sure awayuki, tsuyukusa, yori? And tsuwabuki(yoris brother) all have feelings for mc, its hinted at in multiple routes and the common route and I get it, shes a good person AND gorgeous and like a proper noble i love Hinagiku

Tsuyukusa has been my least favorite -- I really just wanted to romance his brother the entire time. But it did hint at some other more interesting things going on in Itehari so that was cool. He's just kind of whiny and young to me (hes 19 so fair) 🤷 and I think he and mc ARE cute but not for me

Awayuki -- He's fine as a character, but he is one of the characters canonically in love with mc (I think by my count 3 love interests are probabaly invested in her no matter what, and one side character) i don't like the set up though b/c raising a girl and falling for her is creepy

Anyways Tobari's route was very fun I enjoyed the ~forbidden~ kind of nature of his route and the additional exploration of social status within the society and kind of the hopeful note the best end ends with it was fun !! He probabaly ranks pretty high for me

I havent updated this at all lol but I've completed Tobari, Awayuki, Tsuyukusa AND Yoris route, and am currently on Yashiro's route (I adore him)
