Bonds bitch slapped T, bc that speech was knees to chest, rockin’ back & forth whining “ima good boy”

The exquisite part is Trump ensured the heckler’s taunt is heard verbatim, around the world.

OT: anyone know what became of possessed daughter in the Exorcist?

Under the law of big fish eat little fish, males feel freer to unload on women. It’s not apples to oranges, but I often wonder how Babbitt, a female amidst throngs of men, was the only fatality among Jan 6 insurrectionists, guesstimating 90%+ were male.

Who is whacking him?

I have 2 tie ins- the book Clarence is reading is strong on Tom’s friendships and even attends his own funeral. And a recent, true account, The Missing Kayaker. A heartwarming, redemptive ending for the chief investigator.

I can accept the reality of this inane administration. What staggers me is that it continues to be enabled and supported.

Ty, thought I was in alt universe. Also, questioning his sincerity in turnaround, after all the foot dragging. Could be a trap to see how GOPs vote, knowing full well Senate doesn’t want to go on record. Sheer nonstop madness 24/7.
November 18, 2025 at 3:50 AM
With you all the way, you put it out straight. Appeasement has a woeful track record and the efforts for premium reduction will be doubly appreciated now that enrollees are getting 2026 notices of increase. Yes, $nap a horror, air traffic a mess, but most blame accruing to POTUS & GOP. GO DEMS!

I’m unsure from your post whether or not NPR mentioned the list.

Sure, could be Fortune 500 or nat’l chains, Amazon, etc. I make a point of supporting my local merchants. It’s a tuff line to draw bc chains employ in community, so also contribute to local index. I’d like to see boycott instituted as recurring, so more join in with persistent advocacy.
August 13, 2025 at 6:24 PM
I propose 1 week of economic boycott, spending de minimus, like down to last $20. No coffee, pack a lunch, dinner at home. Throw a leftovers party, go to library, walk in the park. With enough participation, it’ll have impact and can work on a monthly basis.

Lol, glad that wasn’t a Final Jeopardy. Looking for a bat society now, in the vertebrates section. Ty much

Aside from the moral and equity abdication, it makes little economic sense. The world market is unlimited for green tech and US just handing it off, mostly to China. It’s last gasps of fossil fuels and now their secondary stream, plastics getting the stink eye. Hang On, Sloopy!

Ty for your relentless journalism, even as many fail to cover the effects of inequity & worse. I haven’t seen Yemen mentioned except for target practice, but not so long ago, 20M were at risk of starving. I suspect some strife, esp ME & N Africa, related to post peak oil politics & oc, water.

Tx, maybe see you at auction!
August 5, 2025 at 1:04 PM
I’ve been hearing end of story on NPR about major art supplies auction in Kensington on Aug 16, thought I’d give you heads up. Can’t find any else on it. Maybe from Univ of Arts? Mgmt trying to find artists to return their works. Hoping another climate art nite, sold my sis after good review. TY!

I can’t pretend to spec highest priority, maybe it’s constitutional reform. But I have sense we’re in existential combat triage with nuke saber rattling, negative climate change effects and precarious public health from pollution/pandemic/lack of access and piss off oversight.
Great presence, ty.
