Always leaving but never going. We are saddened to hear of the passing of Dave Thomas, the legend behind Pere Ubu. Mr. Thomas appeared twice in Plazm magazine. The first time was an interview with Fern Gnesin in Plazm No. 11, published 1995, now shared in our online magazine.

We first met Alfredo Jaar at AIGA National in 2002 (we were both presenting). We invited him to PDX in '04 - postcard from our event.

He's back 2/22 as part of the PNCA Lecture Series & is part of PICA’s Policing Justice exhibition, on view Feb 23-May 12. Free+open to the public.
