Yeah NCOs definitely are the backbone. I had a good PSG that helped me when I was a PL.

That’s real. Also have done combative with dudes under 180 pounds that folded up dudes twice his size. Hell I’ve done it. 185, beat one of my soldiers who was 260. Granted I can fireman carry 200 and I do well on the ACFT. But give and take you know.

I don’t need your military resume to understand how it works brother. I’m in a heavy unit myself. I know the structures.

If you struggle with carrying a soldier it shouldn’t disqualify you from being in a combat MOS. There are some guys that can shoot amongst the best and may not be built like your typical infantryman.

I can definitely see that in Iraq and I get your point. At the core a combat soldier should be able to fireman carry someone of a certain weight (I agree) but what I’m saying is, everyone isn’t being dismounted.

You know exactly what I mean. There are some BNs that are Light Infantry where they are primarily dismounted and then there are heavy where they’re operating mostly out of Strykers, JLTVs, etc. But.. I’m specifically talking about certain combat MOS where it doesn’t matter as much, like Tankers.

They need to get rid of the damn 2MR. At anytime we have to run 2 consecutive miles, we’re in bigger trouble. Replace it with the beeper test. “I’m up, you see me, I’m down” makes more sense.

1000% percent. I was in Europe for a military rotation and you can eat more and lose weight. The food here is toxic to us.
