Another great quote from this book:
'...all "cool" really means is "young and therefore much further away from death."'

I'm about 20 pages into this book. My favorite sentence so far is
'I don't know what the teens are doing these days, and I've come to the understanding that it is no longer my business to care.'

I'm reading these brilliant, thoughtful, beautifully written, original explorations, one of A life and one of All life (mainly human). I'm loving them. FWIW IMHO, highly recommended!!

Authors Nicholas Boggs and Iain McGilchrist.

I am reading these 3 books concurrently determined by fast-approaching final due dates based on exhausted renewals or holds placed. Chance, Kismet, Synchronicity? 🤷‍♂️

They complement one another in the exploration of spirituality and the disingenuousness concept of 'race' causing genuine anguish.

If you like your @stephenking.bsky.social with a twist of Borges, please read the short story Ur in the collection The Bazaar of Bad Dreams. Read it on your Kindle 😏 You'll see...

Read this by @endofthepier.bsky.social

Witty and informative, as precise and concise as a Joan Didion novel.
IDK about the conclusion. Not convinced human bullshit should be spread throughout the solar system, if it's even possible: perhaps containment on Earth til the last breath is best. 🤷‍♂️

Having read and been impressed by The Sirens' Call by @chrislhayes.bsky.social,
I checked out his first book from the local library. OMG, he should write a follow-up:
