I’m glad you like the music but I must say, depicting Wes as someone who had “no knowledge of what he was doing” is very disrespectful. The man studied guitar his entire life and is a blueprint for the modern jazz guitarist.

I'm a musician, but a few things I like.
1. Take a break, your brain works hard when you're away from the instrument/canvas.
2. Do it wrong on purpose for a bit. Just make it trash on purpose. Seeing what's wrong usually helps it go right and sometimes yields great ideas.
