There is a podcast “For all you kids out there” it does a good job explaining the trade unemotionally for the most part. They initially mentioned right field. When the team is set for next year this trade will help them improve but we will see. We are the Mets and almost anything we do is cursed lol

Awesome for Brandon he is a bad outfielder and getting worse they are gonna put him in right field. We can sign Pete and Nimmo does not clog up the DH spot. Can go after Tucker can play Benge in left if they want. Etc. etc. I love Brandon but this was the move sorry.

I think we need to see who the left fielder is before we answer any of these questions about the trade. Nimmo needed to go to open up endless possibilities for the off season.

Nimmo is the worst co tract in all of the MLB. This is a great move for the Mets opens up endless possibilities. Tucker or Bellinger to name a few.

I think Early Season Senga was lucky last year. We need to make room for a better more reliable pitcher. He is just hurt too often. Will miss the ghost if he is traded.

I’m ok if Edwin is gone but the money needs to be used to create better pitching outcomes across the board.
