It’s the curation for me. Over 25 years from when they started and they know exactly how to bring in OGs (Busta and 3000 used perfectly) and exactly how to make the most of new generation (Paak, Kendrick). Q-tip is like the Scorsese of hip hop.

I still listen to that score and the score from The Hours pretty frequently! So good.

Honestly, I think it has a lot to do with many in tech self-conceptualizing as those “changing the world”. It’s an extension of ego.
