That’s hilarious, here’s to Ukraine “helping out” the rest of Russia’s fleet

And what happens when Russia crosses the front line and begins firing at civilians?

Will those "assurance forces" fight back, or will they pack up and leave?

If they're willing to fight Russia to save Ukrainian life, why aren't they there now?

But Mira have you considered that Americans are actually the only real people in the world so nothing that happens to anyone else is as important? Everyone else is just there so Americans have funny people to laugh at.

When Putin keeps hearing from all and sundry that they're desperate to negotiate a peace with him, he hears that he can continue his violence as much and as long as he wishes, and rely on having those desperate peace offers still there when his strength is exhausted.

Just hoping Russia will stop is not a strategy that's known for success...

The Couch Molester is big mad again, and wants to feel like a big man by hurting Ukraine.

Can the IPC explain why it's so important to be "against politics" by allowing Russia and Belarus to compete while Russia is an international pariah due to continually waging genocide?

Could they also explain how their position of insisting that Russia should compete is "non political"?

The fact that it's even mentioned suggests that for some countries, and Ukraine in particular, their sovereignty is not integral, and is something that is up for negotiation.

This is not the case. Ukraine is a sovereign nation. Period.

Occupation may change the de facto basis, but not the de jure.

The fact that he _wants_ to be seen like this really says it all.

Better than the debacle that came out of the US, but this "plan" still puts Ukraine's sovereignty up for negotiation.

The plan should only ever be "Russia leaves Ukraine's territory immediately and without condition."

Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, war didn't stop since then, which means Russia attacked Ukraine every single day of both of Trump's turms.

Trump’s plan is a shameful capitulation that stains anybody who advocates for it

I offer a counterproposal, Russia can cede control of Saint Petersburg to Ukraine and spend the next hundred years repeatedly apologizing for their actions.

Is the UK prepared to have their soldiers fight and kill Russian soldiers to preserve Ukrainian civilian life?

If no, why send them at all?

If yes, why not send them today?

Sounds like “security assurances” all over again

Twelve years ago Ukrainians chose Europe.

When will Europe choose Ukrainians?

How can we sit back and watch them fighting for their lives for over a decade, fighting to be free of corruption and of Russian control, fighting to be part of Europe, and we just passively watch?

How's the US trying to sell this? "Well they wanted all of Ukraine and we got them to compromise on just half of Ukraine for now"?
November 21, 2025 at 8:36 AM
The "peace plan":
* Russia gets to keep everything it has stolen
* Ukraine gets to disarm and make themselves vulnerable to further invasion
* Ukraine gets more "security guarantees" to go on their gigantic pile of previous security guarantees
* Russia pinky promises to definitely not invade anymore

Completely spontaneously and definitely not at the direction of FSB I’m sure.
