Maron nailed it. They thought that once the bully was back in office that suddenly they would be considered "funny" again but that's just not how it works.

I appreciate the well wishes. It is definitely a flawed system. You can count me as one of the people who assumed there were a lot more checks and balances in place to stop such an outcome. This is shameful and embarrassing for our country.
