I intentionally broke out of the mindset of thinking of games in terms of ratings (1-10/1-5,A-F) and honestly it’s been liberating. Review outlets need it for attention but normal everyday people don’t really benefit from what one person assigns a piece of media. Actual write-ups are more meaningful

Agree on both accounts. Extremely satisfying loop, love the gotcha moments. Also, definitely relaxes me into a sleepy state at the same time. I’ve leaned into it and made it my “just got in bed and need to relax for a minute before i fall asleep”. Works almost every time.

Lego Horizon is in the middle of the road when it comes to Lego game repetitiveness and towards the high end for production values.

It’s funny to see how many items I hadn’t crafted before that I can craft now. Turns out I had the materials but pulling them out of storage was a pain.

My house is in the opposite top-right corner, close to the shops and museums, but as far as possible from the bottom-right pier haha. This pipe fixed that!

Season 2 has an episode (“Unmasked”) where they learn the truth about their friend who has been living a double life the whole show. The lesson from their mentor is explicitly “sometimes, even though we care about somebody, they can still make bad decisions” which is kinda radical for a kids show.

I still need to mess with those, I did the hotel briefly last night and then got sucked into crafting a bunch of shit that I didn’t know I could make before the helpful storage update 😂
