There’s just too many shows so the hype is diluted depending on your interests. The State of Play was amazing to me but apparently people that only care for first party sad dad games hate it?

Kojima bias might be strong and Death Stranding is seen with way more positive eyes than when it came out. That’s the only game I think could snatch some awards from it but who knows?

Eternal got a lot of shit online so I guess they over corrected. To me it feels like it want s to be Quake but they backtracked on that halfway and it just feels underbaked as a Doom game and pseudo Quake.

The Leviathan DLC made me more mad there’s no way to filter the purple sky that makes the game look like shit. That zone was so pretty.

Every year the complains get worse, I don’t understand how they allow that. Not having something as simple as brand new PS5s or at least some that are cooled off for top 8 matches is insane to me, especially since it’s Sony owned and sponsored.

Writing wasn’t as strong as the first game and one thing that didn’t helped is that the promotional material had cool trailers and images of Pete and Miles fighting Venom in tandem and that doesn’t happen on the actual game so people got more negative towards it. A Carnage DLC would had been cool.

Dedicated gamers need some normie friends to understand most people only own a console to play a live service game, a sports EA one or Nintendo stuff with the kids every once in a while.
