The entitled arrogance is staggering. Labour and McWeener did not win! It’s not a race ffs. It’s being elected by voters to do the job you are paid to do. I am sick of this “we are in power” NO! You are an elected official and can be replaced.

Why ask GPs ? They will vote no all day long because it means more work and against the hippocratic oath. Ask the public, you know the ones who will be on the receiving end. I don’t need protecting from myself. Protecting from busybody types would be fab.

It’s always school/teachers/society should do more. Make the parents responsible for their children’s actions. It’s not someone else’s responsibility to raise a child it’s the parents responsibility.

Crikey. It’s not difficult, as a parent your job is to know where your kids are and what they are doing. So job 1 is ask for their phone and see what/who they are interacting with. Same with PC/tablet. Stop expecting someone else to do your job, your child, your job.
