I had an oregano plant pop up in my yard last year. I guess from bird droppings. I harvested some fresh and in September cut it all way back and hung it to dry in my garage. It much more flavorful than store bought and its free.

I like the rugosa types but the tea and most other types have too many disease and pest issues for me. My former home owner loved them and as they die out, I replace them with fruits and veggies.
