I hope we can get to a place where we can push out any politician that continues to accept money from AIPAC.

Thread of democratic senators that voted AGAINST Bernie’s resolution to stop sending weapons to Israel and how much funding they get from AIPAC.
Democrats only bc every single republican voted to continue to supply Israel.

29. When She Was Me by Marlee Bush 5/5 I don’t read thrillers much bc I already have anxiety and they make it worse but I really enjoyed this one! Couldn’t believe it was her first published book!

Okay I lied I actually took some.
Banana cream pie in the first pic
Pasta salad in the second
Cute lemonade drinks in the third
And these funky frozen sour grapes

28. The Alice Network Kate Quinn 5/5 super great historical fiction that switches between WWI and WWII and focuses on women’s involvement in the resistance

27. Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty. 5/5 I have read every one of her books and usually read them in 2 days but this one took me 2 weeks! A little hard to keep everyone’s story straight at first but it came together beautifully.

26. The Heartbeat of Trees by Peter Wohlleben. 5/5 super inspiring and informative! I will NOT be taking some of his advice (taking a bite out of a tree, blindfolding myself in the forest, taking a forest walk at midnight) but I did really appreciate his insight and expertise.

25. Something in the Woods Loves you by Jarod K Anderson 5/5 one of my top books ever! I screenshotted so many pages. Related so deeply to his mental health struggles and love for nature.

No Matter the Wreckage by Sarah Kay. 4.5/5 I don’t read a lot of poetry but I saw some of her poems online and really liked them.

23. The Giver by Lois Lowry. Somehow I never read this as a kid but thoroughly enjoyed it as an adult! A new perspective of dystopian that I haven’t read before. 5/5

22. The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin. 5/5

“Why would I want to integrate myself into a house on fire”

I’ve known he was a civil rights icon but didn’t know much else about him before this. At this current political climate I think it’s important for us to study those that came before us

21. Our Revolution by Bernie Sanders. 5/5 super digestible, even if you’re not into politics. Everyone should read what he has to say on progressive policies regardless of your political affiliations.

20. The Book of Two Ways by Jodi Picoult- this is my 3rd Picoult book and I’m so hooked on her. Her books are good the whole way through but she has this power to make the last 30% just absolutely addictive. I admire her complex characters and ability to highlight difficult topics. 5/5!

19. Make The Season Bright by Ashley Herring Blake 3/5 a little too predictable for me but was a cute story and a quick read!

18. I’m Judging You by Luvvie Ajayi 3/5 this one was a little hard for me to get through but it was good overall. It felt a little surface level and didn’t really offer me a new perspective

17. The Book of Lost Names by Kristin Harmel. 5/5 I really enjoyed this one. Very emotional, very politically relevant, and an easy read.

16. A Lady’s Guide to Scandal by Sophie Irwin. 4/5 I liked this one! Very lighthearted and sweet. Bridgerton vibes for sure without the sex
