No one should have this much money!

BTW… he’s down from 433 billion (3 weeks ago) to 391 billion today.

The dairy industry is in trouble. So the latest ploy is to make manure more valuable, capturing inefficient manure methane to con taxpayers thinking this offsets burps

It's a last ditch effort that's working since animal agriculture has the biggest lobby of any industry

Focusing on the good things right now.

The Transfarmation Project helps farmers transition from industrial animal agriculture to raising crops for human consumption.

This year they have transitioned 9 farms from animals to plants!

Whole food plant-based for the win again.

Even the original 'processed' plant-based options like tofu & tempeh are excellent choices factoring in nutrition, health, environment, and cost.

Shout out to Seitan & TVP that didn't make the analysis.

Compared to chicken, pork, or beef (KG/protein), soy uses far less land:
🐓 3x less than chicken,
🐖 9x less than pork, &
🥩 32x less than beef

Compared to dairy, soy milk uses:
🌎 1/10th of the land,
💨1/3rd of the GHGs, &
💦1/20th of the freshwater.

Plant-based milks are a big eco solution. Dairy uses:

🌎10x more land
💦20x more freshwater
🌡️3x more GHGs

And the big ploy is to consolidate & lobby for gvmt handouts.

Yet 13 of the big dairy corps combined emit more GHGs than major mining or oil/gas giants

"Shifting to a plant rich diet especially in high-income nations is the biggest opportunity we have for meeting climate targets"

Then a major bonus is the land it'd free up for carbon drawdown and wildlife.
