Hosting a school garden work party on Monday because connecting folks with our community while creating something that helps kids' mental and physical health is the most useful thing I can think of to do right now. (Weeding optional, it's okay to just sit in the sunshine and survive.)

Third grader referred to the aides/counselors who accompany some of our students as their "companions" and I don't know if he learned this concept from Dr. Who or my explanation that "companion plants" are "friend" plants that support and help each other grow, but I approve either way.
