She's an absolute train wreck of a person and arguably one of the worst "leaders" Alberta has ever had. There used to be an Alberta advantage; you could write it out and see how much in actual dollars and cents. That's so far gone now, it's terrifying

Wait one second, we have opossums here!?! I'm obserdly excited about this!!! I moved to eastern Ontario last July, and I'm still discovering. I saw my first otter last week and nearly died of happiness, and now I discover opossums. If anyone needs me, I'll be in the woods.

Fan's create subtle movement that causes stems to strengthen; they also help prevent fungus. Once you have true leaves you can also reduce your temps 68f/20c is enough for most veg during the day & 61f/16c at night is good. Unless you're growing special lettuce, then the temps should be different ;)

You have some great advice so far. 2-4" for your lights is perfect!! If you don't have lights, use your brightest window and rotate your seedlings 180 degrees each day to stop them from leaning.

If you can find a copy of the Ball or bernardin preserving books, they are gold. They have recipes but also all the safety information and tell you how to make sure you're being safe when processing. The websites for both are good but paper cook books are just special.

I'm sure you get enough light for something in some capacity (🇨🇦 horticulture expert here). I can always share knowledge if you're interested. 🙂 We might need to think outside of traditional gardens but food doesn't care if it's grown in a row
