Planning fulfills the founders’ vision for America by fulfilling your community's vision for itself. Thoughts about ideas in the world and answering your questions on your community's future.
In addition to the executive, legislative, and judicial, the United States needs to add an administrative branch, consisting of independent agencies. Their work would be depoliticized. They would be led by administrators selected for set terms by the president with qualifications set by law.

Federally insured financial institutions should be banned from owning cryptocurrency.

The purpose of state and local police is to keep people safe. They cannot do that if crime victims are afraid of them. Allowing state and local police to cooperate with federal law enforcement makes people less safe and is incompatible with their core mission.

You're not ready to be in a position of authority if you're afraid that mistakes will be made. You're also not ready if you don't care that mistakes will be made. The extremes of risk-seeking and risk avoidance are both incompatible with leadership.

People who pray in public want your attention because they believe prayer attracts your consideration and respect. They do this to gain power. And when they gain authority over you, they will demand your loyalty and obedience. Never trust a person who prays in public. They want their reward now.

To prevent scalping, ticket holders could be required to present the card used to purchase the tickets at the door. Ticket sellers want scalpers to drive sales and get pricing data. So, though scalping is often illegal they won't do anything. That way billionaires get more of your money.

Climate change is a systemic problem, not an individual one. It cannot be solved by individual action; it can only be solved by systematic change. Your personal responsibility as an individual is to require that the people who can change the system do so completely and immediately

Fortunately, executive orders don't apply to states.

It will always be the government's responsibility to make amends for its own unjust policy or act. It would be unjust to allow the beneficiaries of the unjust policy or act to prevent it from doing so.

There is no legitimate purpose for cryptocurrency in a lawful society.

Legally, you must follow all laws. Morally, you are not obligated to follow unjust laws. Which is why if your justification is "I can do that because it's legal!" or "You can't do that because it's illegal!" you've condemned yourself as amoral, if not immoral.

Women in the United States of America are still fighting for rights that the women of the Soviet Union secured more than a century ago.

Both of my parents were in the National Guard. My father was a Navy vet. I am an Army vet. While the shooter is entirely culpable, the members of the National Guard were only in peril because of a unjustified political stunt. The best way to support soldiers is to not deploy them needlessly.

Free speech implementation has sadly created huge cons throughout America's history and demands suspicion in every interaction. It's past time for us to establish an expectation of truth in all communications, but it can't happen here. Neither advertisers nor evangelicals would permit it.

Future studies will show that managers who ordered their staff to return to the office are less effective than their peers. Part of that will be due to unreasonably high overhead costs. Part will be due to higher turnover because people don't quit bad jobs, they quit bad bosses.

The Democrats are showing they can't stop fascism because liberals are more committed to balance sheets than they are to liberation and justice. They always accept workers' long-term pain in order to stop their personal short-term pain and they're betraying the states that found ways to back them up

If you were unwise enough to believe Republicans, you're currently believing that even though it controls every branch of government, the Republican party is so impotent that it can't even keep the government open. Weak!

Being self-centered is the surest way to become sad. And when you've alienated everyone and realize that no one in your life cares if you're sad, bitterness will quickly follow.

Help others. Be someone they can count on. Serve the world. Make it a better place.

This is the sole path to happiness.

Even if corporations were people (they're not), they're not citizens of the United States. Only citizens are permitted to participate in elections financially, so corporate monies should be banned.

If you gain power and your first instinct is to use that power to get your family jobs, you have an unqualified family who you're admitting couldn't earn it on their own.

Constitutional amendment: If appropriations are not made, a continuity of government budget is automatically created. The continuity budget would be the last appropriation plus five percent. The continuity budget would guarantee that states, territories, and federal officer or employees are paid.

ICE is the lesson you refused to learn before, so listen up: It's time to end qualified immunity so people who engage in civil rights violations and petty crimes under color of authority become personally liable for their actions, just like everyone else is.

Feels weird to have to remind people of this, but here we are.
The only people concerned about antifa are literal fascists.

You shouldn't be arrested for resisting arrest, let alone be charged with it, without being charged on an underlying crime. Additionally, to prevent the conviction of literally innocent people, you shouldn't be convicted of resisting arrest without being convicted of the underlying crime.
