Listened to some 4 track recordings I made when I was 17 this morning, loved the sound of the “clean” direct guitars, started searching out the recent pedals that do the channel strip and remembered I grabbed this amp simulator earlier this year that does that sound.

My parents have been doing the whole “we are old and cleaning through the house” thing. My dad brought over a tote of high school era notebooks etc, I only skimmed briefly but found these two gems, both are from around 1999.

Realized I haven’t sang at all in the 3 weeks since I got home from tour. Voice was pretty fried there at the end. Tonight should be fun.

I start massive amounts of night shift overtime tomorrow so no idea when I’m going to have time to get this set together, maybe I’ll buy a cheap used 12 string right before the show and go from there.
