Hello HB93! We’re taking another run at securing Brownfields clean up grants!
Exciting News! Yesterday, House Bill 93 was introduced in the Ohio House of Representatives. HB93 will provide a long-term funding for brownfield remediation in Ohio along with important changes to the current brownfield program.

For the last 2 weeks I have walked to/from work (after walking my kid to school). This week I walked to lunch with a colleague & today as I walked home I detoured to pick up a book from the freebie fb group. Walkable n’hoods rule! Ohio has so many we can recover w some thoughtful road redesigns!

Today Shannan, our zoning administrator, told me our new TDM ordinance has saved about 100 permit applicants from needing a zoning variance for parking.

Still need to confirm the data, but it's a big deal! That at least cuts down on ~30 days of permitting time.

This type of program dramatically reduces the barrier to entry for transit—it makes deciding to take the bus or train so much easier when the fare is already paid for
