I’m sadly not hiring or you could join me in regulating them. But I confess I’m willing to let the good ones try to do it well - and hoping I’m not just enabling the further destruction of our cities.

The intended-unintended consequences of this would be bananas - and uncertainty is going to drive the price of everything we buy/build/maintain. Formula funds have been such a given you can bond off them. And then the personal panic - half my team is fully funded from formula funds. Terrifying.

Trying to get some of this in DC during testing so we know what’s coming + set expectations for future deployment. But need other states to step up or ease up on city preemption to make it really happen

There are things I do appreciate about RTO but honestly it depends on how the workplace is set up and how teams work. And more than anything I want flexibility. And if I can’t telework I want my compressed schedule back, if I can just figure out how to do that with a kid

I don’t often love my 4 days in office (which is sometimes 5, like this week) but honestly the commute gives me space between work and home. Also, my colleague has a puzzle set up and I enjoy piecing with my team in the quiet moments.

I so love this (and this genre). You’d think my feed would be all knitting but I actually prefer to watch others do crafts I haven’t tackled (yet)

As a city cyclist who regularly sees folks without lights on because they are on bright corridors (saw an MPD squad car doing this on H St NE tonight!) I would like a hand signal to alert them to their error.
