They look like 2 versions of the same document. Look at the filing date in the header. My guess is 2 different people redacted 2 separate documents. One redacted Trumps name, the other didn't.

This is Trump, so this move will be about protecting Trump. So what's the plan, say he can't release all the files as the DOJ are now investigating. The DOJ will then selectively release docs to implicate Democrats, and the full files are never released.

I took it to be pointing out the irony that a USA media outlet would ask about a relatively small number of stabbings when compared to the crazy number of shootings in the US. But yes, not a great way to say it.

Dowd’s firing wasn’t about what he said - it was when. His critique of Kirk’s rhetoric was fair, but poorly timed. In rolling news culture, instant takes are expected - then punished. An apology for timing should’ve sufficed. He was a casualty of the format.

My honest guess. He's probably just not well - maybe a virus. He doesn't want to appear weak so he's just hiding from the public until he's better. No conspiracy needed to explain the most likely reason.
