I'm currently storyboarding for that one. I know it's been over a year since we lost Scoot, but it still hits me hard now and then when I remember. I'd love to do a couple of these as a silly tribute to some of my favorite content on the internet. RIP, big cat.

My current 'main' Blender animation is a Family Guy gag I'm recreating with a bunch of OCs. I've learned a lot by referencing classical 2D animation in the shot-for-shot remake. It's also finally pushed me to upgrade Blender to the latest version :) Can't wait to redo all those nodes...

The animatic frames are being colored now. I got to draw a LOT of fun faces and expressions in this series, so I'm pumped to share the whole thing once finished!

After colors, I'll have to
- Re-record the narration
- Get some foley
- Composite it all in blender
- Show it to you lovely folks!

I finished my title card animation for the next animatic sequence of 'How Sammy Met Andee' -- a fun process that involved animating a walk cycle in Blender, then rotoscoping it in Krita! (the shadow was the beast)

Three chupas and a bat sit inside of a log ride in the midst of going down a steep slope. The three chupas are male, and the largest one has a smaller one in a tight embrace while grinning; the guy he's holding onto looks a little more wild-eyed and unsure of all this splashing and clinging. The male chupa in the back of the ride is gripping into the leg of the bat, who is attempting to fly away. The bat appears rather furious at this turn of events -- clearly he is not a fan of the upcoming splash, but it doesn't look like he's going to have a choice. Water is bursting out from either side of the log, and a beam of late-day sunlight creates a small rainbow among the sparkles and splashes, adding to the absolute gayness of the whole image.

Spent way more time coloring this than I should have, but it feels good to export at least one finished file this month.

The bat looks confident and rather pleased with himself. They are all standing in a swampy-lookin' kinda place. Splatters of blood coat the two chupas, and additional sprays of blood are seen on the border, presumably from whatever (or whoever) the bat has shot. The noise of the gunshot was "cra-KOW", as evidenced by the barely-legible handwriting in the picture.
