You always work harder and longer when you work for yourself. Why do people forget this and think that it is all so simple?

The frightening thing is that people 'believe' that AI is the future and is better than what we have now. If people trust something that is wrong most of the time what will become of them and us? Just look at the ever increasing money going into AI, do they not believe in bubbles, .com bust anyone?
