Curious about Hasan Piker's “collargate,” I asked the collar maker to identify the collar he held up in the attached picture. They said it looks like an RX-090 receiver with the contact points cut off and taped over, likely to cover rough edges instead of adding a comfort pad. So, shock-capable.

Again, Hasan has used pronged and pinch collars on previous dogs. Electrical collars even with the prongs removed and taped can still shock. No matter the case, these are torture devices and shouldn't be used. The order of events on the video: Hasan reaches -> dog yelps -> dog stumbles & lays down.

I had a friend defending Hasan Piker over the shock collar. I decided to try to be fair and keep looking. It seems to me Hasan's videos and collar listings show conclusively he has the shock model rather than the vibration model and removed/taped the prongs. Genuinely, show me how Hasan isn't lying?

Took my cat to the vet today for an annual checkup. He's not sure about it but he's okay.

Some of these lists are getting out of hand. 🤔 Of course, the owner of this bot has me blocked. My account has nothing to do with porn. Automated lists with a lot of false positives are useless. Bluesky needs a way to help users avoid list abuse and harassment. @support.bsky.team

I've recently been plotting and drafting the fourth novel in my series, though I've been writing scenes for it since 2020. Even before finishing the first book, I had written the final scenes for the last book. I'm up to 67 scenes now. Does anyone else write this way? 🤣

I read much more than this in 2024, but I don't review everything I read.

Most was nonfiction.

Yes, these are great books.

I agree with the general sentiment, but colorful dialogue tags aren't unacceptable in traditional publishing. Many examples in tradpub books. This type of absolutism is one reason people make fun of the writing community. We can promote good writing habits without this silliness.
