Nothing makes me go from 0 to 100 than my kids not responding to a text even when I don't send anything that requires a response. My brain is wonky, so if I text, "Don't forget to leave earlier due to construction," just text back "k." Thats good enough for me, and isn't that what phones are for??

I don't agree that it's the dumbest. It wasn't dumb for Enos or John Glenn or Alan Shepherd, so why is this dumb? Or is it because the timing was shitty? If this had happened in, say, 2016, could you honestly say it was dumb? I'm trying to understand what's really the root of the controversy.
