I forgot I had a cookie in my pocket. The puppy did not forget I had a cookie in my pocket. I am now totally pinned down while she searches for crumbs.

One of my dogs is deaf. We have some basic signs (sit, lay, cookie) but I also taught her “I love you” because I didn’t want to tell her so less than I tell the others dogs.

Everything thing remains awful, but today is my kiddo’s birthday, and he registered to vote. And all the ladies clapped and there was a flag that played Our Country ‘Tis of Thee (or maybe, more controversially, God Save the Queen, who can say?). One more engaged voter. Every one counts.
