I have a new boat neighbour. He is an actor, currently working on #RingsofPower. He’s been filming in Wales this week and bought me a gift from the caves on the beach doubling for Númenor. I am incredibly touched by it - from the realm of Edain, ancestors of Gondor and Rohan.

It might be blowing a hooley outside, but poached egg on avocado sourdough with a touch of chilli jam and pumpkin seeds is lunch here on the boat. An inclement weather event doesn’t stop me from eating well!
