First kit of the new year was the HG Mk-II. Built at my parents while I while away on the RG Mk-II at home. Very solid HG, even with the poly caps. Only half panel-lined and color-corrected for now. Think I’m going to make this my test kit for new things like weathering, etc. #gunpla

Inner-frame on the RG Mk II done. I don’t really like the MS Joint pieces at all. They have a billion nub marks on them despite only having a few gates. It’s simultaneously stiff and rubbery in ways that make you feel like you’re going to break it. At least it’s stable. #gunpla

Lfrith Thorn and Heindree all decaled up. Mark Setter and Softer unfortunately ate through the Mr Hobby Premium Gloss a little (even Setter on its own) and discolored some of the paint.
Heindree was a really great cooldown grunt kit, and weirdly only used like half the decals.

Heindree build finished. Super solid kit and fun build. Pretty unique colors too, kinda Zeta-y with the lavender. Now to decal up this and the Lfrith Thorn. #gunpla

Snap build on the Heindree about half done. Very angular and catches shadows well. Going to need some sort of tripod setup to get the other color details visible. #gunpla

My national Lfrith Thorn nightmare is almost over. Painting done, just need to topcoat and do waterslides. For a kit I didn't even really want, it's the one I've spent the most time with and I'm definitely ready to move on. #gunpla

The copper repaint on my Lfrith Thorn is done. Pretty proud of the permet score chest piece, but the thrusters were kinda a disaster. Now to topcoat this, finish the gun, and paint the rest in brass. #gunpla

Finished snap-building my Lfrith Thorn. For something that's famously tiny, with the backpack and beam sabres in it's actually kind of enormous on the shelf and was hard to take a picture of. Now I just have so much priming and painting to do to it. #gunpla

Well I’m not going to get a cool heat weathering gradient with the colors I have, but looks fine enough. Found out that Gundam Markers will go right on Vallejo acrylics just fine. Better than Gundam Marker on Gundam Marker. #gunpla
