Awesome, would love to be a part of this then! I do indie demo showcases on Kick to help new demos get exposure. I've done 8 so far and around 50 games at least. Can highly recommend Pip Pepper Park Planner, not just cuz it's adorable & different but cuz it has super polite & awesome devs.

Is this exclusive to a specific streaming platform? If not I'd love to be included.

In Godot yes but I'm not an "animator" per se.

Shouldn't cause too much trouble. I think the only intimidating part is how it can literally control every element of any node. It's crazy powerful. But if you have some idea of what you want it to do, you can get anything done in under an hour usually.

With the animation timeline open in the Inspector, just select the object you want to animate and click the little Key icon next to the property you want to change. In this case, it'd be the UV, and just set it to the right position on the map.

I've tried AtlasTexture and honestly have never gotten it to work. Gave up on it a while ago.
AnimationPlayer is basically a video timeline that can accept any property of any object in the scene. You can use it to make really simple animations like rotating an object, all the way up to cutscenes.

AnimationPlayer is your best friend. My instinct would be to have the eyes as a separate Node, and then have all the various eye shapes on a single texture map. Literally animate the UV position across the texture, with cubic interpolation so it doesn't tween. Should look amazing!

I've been IN since I even just heard the concept.
And now that I'm seeing it in action I'm like

I'd like to see gamers actually play more games. Too many think the choices are either COD or "8-bit indie crap." Meanwhile there are 200 games released every week just on Steam & so many get left by the wayside despite being amazing.
