Leave the leaves 🍂
Still plenty of leaves on the trees here. Once they fall, I'll just leave them on the dirt. Free mulch! Also, it's not just fireflies who will appreciate this. So, please, leave the leaves!
Bird, the tiny plague doctor in blue, is under an orange tree pointing at the leaf-covered ground. They say, "Beyond belief, there's a treat under the leaf!" "Snug as a bug, the baby fire bug." A little larva sleeps on its orange bed. Its house's ceiling is entirely made up of fallen leaves. "The rake, I will not take. Work makes me weep. I will not sweep!" says Bird as they rest on the tree's bark. Little orange leaves are falling around them. The little poem ends with, "It might seem crazy, but it's good to be lazy." It's dark now, and the fireflies have come out.

Instead of chasing him out, she's doing her best to make the store a great place for him and the customers! But it's not easy... Dante Cervantes. A vampire working at the convenience store. But don't worry! He prefers to eat bugs instead of drinking blood. He's lived for so long, he can still remember his life as a human in our era...

My characters from my webcomic series "Birdlets". This is the main character, Bird. A mysterious kid dressed like a plague doctor. Nobody knows their real name or gender, and they prefer not to tell. They want to save their hometown and become a fully-fledged doctor. Boar. The orc in the silver armor and Bird's best friend. He used to work for a knight, but now he does quests for a living. Someday, he'll become a great knight... For now, he's happy to go on adventures with his buddy. Vulcan. The Ancient Dragon working as a witch's familiar. Essentially, he works as her caretaker. Since his true form is HUGE, he uses magic to shrink down to a more humanoid shape. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done. Becky. The witch with the Ancient Dragon as their familiar. She's hard at work studying magic, trying to get good grades... And maybe someday... confess her love to her crush. Maybe.

A tiny plague doctor walks by an old toppled billboard that reads, "Prices go down, down..." A comic strip featuring a goblin leader and an orc warrior. On the first panel, the monster punches the warrior on the face, removing his helmet! The warrior's plague doctor friend is concerned for him! He's OK, but has a nasty swollen cheek from the punch... Then on the last panel he gets shot by a little magic spark, which heals his cheek.
