The suburb south of Portland, #milwaukie has created some nice links with cycletracks that feel like off-street paths that unceremoniously end. Ending up in a 5’ unprotected bike lane feels like an old standard for cities somehow 😜 🚲@nacto.bsky.social

Traffic control markings in Belgium are non-uniform, but their safety performance is better. Maybe uniformity in traffic control devices should never be the primary goal in the first place? What would be the outcome in the USA if we had a Manual of Vision Zero Traffic Control Devices #VisionZero
