A snapshot into on of the projects I am working on. 🧶🧶

I started #crocheting the Noro Jacket I saw posted here and I am loving how it is turning out. I am almost done with the body.

Stash project. I had a leftover Caron Cake from another project and didn’t know what to do with it. I decided to try a shawl not knowing how the gradient would work with the pattern. I don’t hate it.

Three dish cloths finished in time for gifting.

Crocheting 🧶 is my sanity these days.

Happened to be near a bookstore today and decided to start adding to my print copy collection of valuable reading material. I am losing trust in digital copies of certain things

I also picked up a little something that makes me happy, a “Legends & Lattes” stationery kit.

Some nights you just need some fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.

I follow B. Dylan Hollis on Instagram. I had a couple avocados so on a lark my son and I tried making the Avocado Bread.

The verdict: Aesthetically?gorgeous. Taste? Ok. Better than expected. But a bit bland and dense. Adding butter made it better.

Fun to try a new thing though. #baking

What I am currently reading.

“Daindreth’s Sorceress” by Elisabeth Wheatley is my Audiobook that I listen to on my commute. I am really enjoying the series

“The House on Vesper Sands” by Paraic O’Donnell is my curl up with a book read. It was an impulse buy that I have just started. So far so good.

The world has been burning (very literally near my area) and we are days away from things getting much worse in this country. Time to de-stress with some tea and crocheting 🧶.

‘Tis the season to begin bejeweling costume pieces for dance competition.

My brother gave my youngest a little screaming goat toy. It is really a perfect uncle gift, obnoxious and hilarious.

I think it also really expresses how many of us feel looking ahead to 2025.

If you need a divine Christmas Cookie recipe and love chocolate, then look no further than these Death by Chocolate Peppermint Cookies.

My teen made some yesterday and they are amazing.

It is approaching Christmas week so why not a Christmas themed murder mystery?

This #book was a total impulse buy. I am hoping for some light enjoyable reading.

The downside to free styling a crochet 🧶 project is sometimes you have to nearly finish a section before you realize your proportions still aren’t right.

Here is hoping 3rd time is a charm on the sleeves of this sleeve shawl.

The body of my Christmas Tree amigurumi is done. All that is left is adding some frill to the tree, and embroidering some colorful decor.

This is a variation on the linked pattern. 🧶

Completed the annual Turkey Trot and my time of 10:13min/mile was really satisfying since I have struggled in the last 6 months to be consistently under an 11min/mile.

Now it is time to wreck the kitchen and make some tasty food.

The pumpkin pie is done baking. The crust got a little darker than I wished, but otherwise a lovely pie.

Starting the morning with some crochet and coffee. Good self care for this Sunday.

Picking up on an older stalled project because of course I have multiple projects happening at any one time.

Time for a light morning #run to get the blood pumping ahead of a busy day. About a 2.5 miler today

This line has sit with me since I read King’s novel. Tapping into our dark well can have its uses, but I think America has been allowing itself to marinate too much in that poison.

This is mine. I was in a regency sleuthing sort of mood.

Your book has peaked my interest. I may have to look more into it.

My sweater project is nearly finished. I just need to sew in the ends. I’m pretty happy with the result considering this is completely freestyle (no pattern used). #crochet
