short excerpt from a vashwood wip OP is working on: "Good luck," Wolfwood mumbles, sticking a cigarette between his teeth and lighting it. Vash's eyes stay open just long enough to watch the tendons and veins in Wolfwood's right hand flex under his warm brown skin as he manipulates the lighter, mesmerized by their movement, and the last thing he thinks of before succumbing to sleep is that he'd like to feel those tendons and veins under his fingertips. He isn't totally sure how long he's out, but he knows that he feels more comfortable than usual once he wakes up.
