I see what you mean, but the same could be said for JavaScript/Node, Python and Go. And I would argue that these languages are specifically designed so the developer does not need to care about memory in most cases.

If you read the paper, you would understand that they found that genetic factors have influence over someone’s ideologies, but that this influence is a combination of countless individual genes and environmental factors that cause those genes to be expressed.

where did i say anything about ethnic groups? please look up the definition of eugenics, people have advocated for eliminating all sorts of “undesirable genes” in the past, almost always for despicable reasons. and no one has discovered an “authoritarian gene”. you live in a fantasy world

i think what you’re talking about is strong vs weak typing. JS/TS are weakly typed, while safe Rust is strongly typed. and that’s pretty much where the TS/C similarities end 😄 en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strong_...

People who aren’t familiar with Chicago Transit might not know that, though. I can absolutely see new riders getting frustrated that the L12 train is not an L train and is in fact a completely different system
