I wouldn’t bet on Anthony, Meyer, and Abreu. Their inability to stay on the field cost the team last year. Bregman and Story found a way to play in Sept/Oct.

Sounds like the Mets decided they had a real problem (missed the playoffs after signing Soto?) and getting rid of some dead weight is the solution.

We got a 1B. If they wanted a DH at that price, they’d get Schwarber. I liked the idea of trading for Ketel way way more than Alonso
