Nope...not entitled. They should be emailing you with why they want to discuss a matter first, it may actually be something not within your responsibilities in the first place...if it is then to schedule a call if necessary.

I think anything that creates an "us and them" scenario, no matter how well-intentioned or innocent it was initially, drifts into the clique model, which by definition excludes.

Yes, I personally find that while routine is great, I can lose sight of the overall picture because I can focus on the negatives...I didn't get the goal I thought I should get that day. It is amazing how a single negative thought can diminish the positives.

It really is a journey with its ups and downs. You have shown great tenacity and are definitely a goal oriented person. Perhaps a short break from routine can re-orient you and get you back on track.
