StarWars people I follow seem to have plenty of supporters from the LBGT community. I wrote a clone story where one of the clones is pseudo-trans. Thru environment, training, biology, chemistry, the surveillance clone was male or female depending on the assignment. archiveofourown.org/works/64929946
