I think you are missing performance with fan development. While MLS is not a top league, there are millions of football fans in the US. Look at what NBC pays for the premier league rights. USA into a Tier 1 nation is not the goal USA teams to be successful enough for the US fan to be interested.

And I don’t see the Eagles scoring with their full back isolated in their own 22. A lot will depend on how the opposition are. Samoa could be tired and injured, England could want to set a standard etc.
