Watched it a couple years ago for the first time and was surprised at its TV Movie of the Week vibes.

Speaking of Matt Belloni, his podcast interview last week with Crunchyroll’s Rahul Purini was hilariously dumb. Matt even admitted at the end he sounded like an uninformed idiot.

Others may differ, but I’m a sucker for an incredibly badly-written celebrity profile.

Yay! I guessed correctly! 👍

Gee, kinda sounds like “free buses” is a good idea. 🤔

The single “Walking in L.A” was released in 1983 and it wasn’t true even then. This was during a three-year period of reduced fares, which saw an increase from about 354 million to 497 million annual bus passengers. Some communities have never had drivers licenses or been able to afford cars.

The notion that “nobody walks in L.A.” has long been a pet peeve of mine.

“Slightly hysterical” SO much less condescending than “hysterical.” 😐

My religion is the scientific method. Results must be replicable by others; theories should be constantly tested and potentially revised.

What is it, 8:18 AM right now, your time?

If you don’t fix the structure, the policy is pointless. One administration enacts policy and the next tears it down.

We got one in L.A.

It’s L.A. that has the Miracle Mile.

Jefferson Smith was literally a boy scout leader.

Not that expensive, but I love this one.

That location shooting thing is true. Columbo and The Rockford Files (both Universal shows) are excellent documents of Los Angeles in the ‘70s.

The excellence of that show is often underappreciated. medium.com/@pjrodriguez...
“Oh, just one more thing…”
Columbo represent a pinnacle in television mysteries.

During the 2016 election, I was reading Rick Perlstein’s Before the Storm and the parallels were extremely disconcerting.

A touch of class from a bunch of unrepentant murderous goons? Did you see that movie? 😮
