I just figured there were so many employees, the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. They finally sold my mortgage to another lending company and I never had the 'show proof of insurance coverage' issue again.

I didn't get caught in that one but I did refinance my house through them. It was a yearly headache to prove to them each year that I continued to carry homeowner's insurance. I mean, EVERY STINKING YEAR! And every year I had to call my insurance company and have them send ANOTHER declaration page.

I feel sorry for the soon-to-be-laid-off. This is a rough time of year to lose your job.
P.S. I've had my share of bad experiences with Wells Fargo so I don't care for them. To put it in a nutshell, I'll never do business with them again.

Plus, in my mind, it shouldn't matter what country they came from. They sincerely want to be Americans now or they wouldn't have gone to all the trouble (testing, etc., etc., etc.) to become an American.
