I've been on this route and they def pad it, but that's mainly because they may have to go waaayyyyy around through wyoming if there's too much hairy weather going over the continental divide.

Die Another Day has a lot of good qualities, but the bad choices are BAD (kitesurfing a wave from a carved off glacier).
