At the end of the day, this policy tells us exactly who Trumpism values: power, money, and performative patriotism not the actual people who keep society functioning.

The irony? The same politicians who love to pose with nurses for campaign ads, who love to praise “our heroes” on social media, are now pulling the ladder up behind every young person trying to join those ranks.

This administration has never met a functioning public service it didn’t want to break, gut, or sell off. And now it’s health care’s turn again.
