I know from talks with my brother that, to people who aren’t invested in politics, a frank assessment of the situation sounds hysterical. It isn’t. Things are really, really bad and they’re going to get worse.

However, the things that Trump, Elon Musk, and the Republican party are doing are unambiguously fascist and shamelessly illegal.
