Gonna get a little serious here: this Musk/Trump breakup is poignant in its way because neither man has ever seemed to be able to have a friend (or real family connection either).

I can’t imagine getting out of bed in the morning without a heart full of beloveds.

You guys, I've been driving all day to Boston and I just looked at the internet. You've all been wild without me.

I think the one thing this article is missing is that accusations of AI use will come for students of color in particular. They are consistently having their intelligence undermined and this is one more tool that will be levied against them.

I've always been at least partially convinced that weakening the social welfare state isn't making anyone giddy to increase their financial burden no matter how much they want a kid. This is all to say, Republicans can't enact real family policy because it's against their own ideological framing.

If you're dating a guy who won't see a French film because it's too girly or whatever, may I recommend 1) break up with him or 2) "Un Homme et Un Femme" which is 95% a man driving a 1965 Ford Mustang around France.

As someone who does not mind embarrassing men, can I suggest the power of simply saying "what the fuck are you talking about?"

Please democrats do something even if it is performative. Show us that you notice anything close to the reality of the situation.

It really can't be overstated how activists have warned us since the birth of the republic that the racism, sexism, and bigotry at the heart of this nation would destroy it sooner than it's highest ideals would save it, if we didn't throw ourselves into the struggle.

Not the most important thing but the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Olympics are both set to take, in part, in the US. Both are either going to be absolute nightmares for tourists or we're going to have some Munich 1936 Olympics energy.

I'm beginning to think all the definitions of a fascist should just be replaced with "the dumbest person in the room actually thinks you're dumb and they're the smartest person in the room."

It is unimaginable that our Dear Leaders have ever felt loved. Their constant use of social media for validation is such an obvious substitute, and it can never give them what the petrified part of their soul wants. And genuinely, they're never going to find it.
